I'm in good company this weekend at the Homemade: Brooklyn event at the Kill Devil Hill store in Greenpoint. Jessica of The Shiny Squirrel put it together with Moni. Look forward to jewelry from Odette and the newly formed collective You Me and the Royal We.

Here are some pics of the store (added later).

My display is a lot like the JellyNY one but I added a few school supplies. I now have clip board necklace displays and mini divider jewelry stands. I can post a little tutorial on the divider display next week so you all can see the back. I also spontaneously added a new product to my line...PIGEONS. I disassembled various fake birds from the florist shop added a little paint and some imagination to end up with my own breed of decorative pigeons. More on that later too.

My Heart Belongs to BROOKLYN

Graphic Dirt sure knows how to tug on my heart strings. I am loving the BROOKLYN imagery used on a variety of lovely items available at the Supermarket store.

JellyNY Pop up Store

It's official. I love my vintage ironing board. I also found a good use for my branch arrangement left over from the wedding event. I clipped necklaces to it using very tiny gold old fashion paper clips. The rest you will have to come and see in person. The store is at Union and Metropolitan in Williamsburg. It is Saturday through Monday.

I met Stephanie Dowda (1/2 of The Palifox Legend) who did the wonderful art pieces on the walls. I hope to collaborate with her one day. She is a talent!

BROOKLYNrehab for hire

Ok I know it's hard to tell what is going on here but let me break it down. The idea of the display is the 4 seasons. Each strip of colored burlap is a season and it has a collection of natural objects, vintage items, customized decal plate settings, favors/gifts and handmade porcelain to give it some pizzazz. As I mentioned I am the big dummy that forgot her camera and had to depend on the kindness of others to have some mementos to share. Unfortunately there are no pictures of spring and summer. I will need to recreate this one day and take some shots of each season.

The Scene

Here are some snapshots of the Brooklyn Wedding Event at Bubby's taken by Chocolate Photography and the Bubby's event photographer. The piles of delicious treats and cheers of bubble were quite a tease. I was there to showcase my wares and kick start my services as a wedding stylist.

My favorite past time was watching the amazing wedding reels by Hello Super 8.
